Three Habits to Start Your Day With

My bedroom is my sanctuary, and I like to keep it a safe haven from the stress of life. Here are three things that I do when I first wake up to get centered for the day.

1.MAKE.YOUR.BED I lived so long without doing this and once I started to it was a game changer.  Knowing that I can slide into a made bed at the end of a long day is such a blessing. Henceforth I will ALWAYS take one minute and make it!

2. CENTER YOURSELF It is easy (for me at least!) to get caught up in the day. Sometimes I can lose sight of my goals as well as who I am and what is truly important to me. Sitting quietly for a few minutes gives me a moment to center my thoughts. I like focus on what I am grateful for and the things I want to focus on for the day.

3.STRAIGHTEN UP YOUR ROOM- After I have get dressed, I put any dirty clothes in the laundry basket and fold other clothes that need to be put away (sometimes I change my mind several times before choosing an outfit). I try to always leave my room clean, because at the end of the day I am exhausted and just want to get in bed.

Simple habit changes can make a huge difference in your day to day. Putting these systems into place ensures less time is spent on work and more time is spent living life.
